Helen says about her work:
"Clay is such a responsive material and I can do functional tableware and non functional sculpture with it. Not only that, I can explore colour and form."
A recent graduate of the BFA program at U of Manitoba, Helen has also achieved a BA in Art and Art History from U of Toronto.
Realistic sculptures occupy kiln space with boldly coloured functional pots. She feels there is still so much to learn and explore in the clay medium that she plans to focus solely on clay.
